To a younger generation experimenting with lingerie type wear at a younger age. Leggings, used to be classed at lingerie, it wasn’t until the fitness craze in the 80′s that leggings
were worn as an everyday outerwear.

Designers have taken insipration from chemises and babydolls for a younger generation of fashion, as they develop their own image.
Many of the same materials are used by traditional outerwear and lingerie, such as silk, cotton, lace, leather, therefore its seems like a natural transition as a new
generation of designers and consumers wanting to a different image.

of traditional outerwear materials and lingerie type materials are used to transform everyday wear to lingerie type clothing.

Of course the fashion they wear is over the top, but the fashion that results is very much inspired from this.
