Pre-Council Tour & Accommodation for Young Professionals (YPN Members)

9 Day / 8 Night Pre-Council Tour, Thursday 15th - Friday 23rd July 2010 (including IFHE Council)

This package is designed specifically for young professionals Home Economists who are interested in experiencing elements of Irish Culture in a fun and light-hearted manner. The package includes relaxed mini-lessons in Irish Sports, Irish Dancing and Traditional Irish Crafts. Weather permitting a Surfing Lesson will also be offered. A night out in an Irish Pub with Traditional Irish Music will be held during the pre-council tour.

The package also includes self-catering accommodation and food for the duration of the pre-council tour and the Council. It will be organised on a similar basis to the YPN tour at Congress 2008, Lucerne.

The cost of the tour will be €200.

Close of registration for the YPN Tour / Accommodation is 30th April.

(Note you must also register for Council, this is not included in the price).

  • Accommodation from Thursday 15th July to Friday 23rd July 2010 (we also offer accommodation for the conference period only should people not want to come for the YPN Pre Council Tour
  • Meals (breakfast and dinner) for this period
  • Transport to and from Council venue
  • Activities planned as part of the tour.
