| 14:45 15:15 16:45 | VOYA Seaweed Baths Seaweed baths are an old tradition in County Sligo; the original bathhouse on this site was built early in the last century and was widely used by people from all around the area. That bathhouse was destroyed by hurricane Debbie in 1962 and the present building was developed with assistance from local funding bodies in 2000. The baths are in individual, private rooms, each with a steam unit. Hot seawater and fresh seaweed are used for each bath, and patrons can control the temperature of their bathwater. | |
